On September 27th, I had the opportunity to speak to about 2,500 students from Millard West High School in Omaha, Nebraska. I was blown away by their openness, and their kindness towards one another. I stayed for about two hours following the assembly and heard stories from several of the students. The stigma with mental health issues begins to disappear when we normalize our stories.
