Cardinal Newman High School in Santa Rosa, California was one of my favorite schools that I’ve ever been to. I really believe that the world starts to change when we share our stories. In our vulnerability, we find our heroism. I shared my story, listened to the students’ stories, and ate way too much pizza. I’m trying my best to eliminate the stigma with mental health, one school at a time.
Following my day in Santa Rosa, I was able to visit Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Chinatown. I had never been to San Francisco before and it was beautiful. I’m glad we don’t have as much traffic here in Omaha however. Thanks for reading, and for being a part of my life in some way.
