At the end of January, I had the pleasure of speaking to a few hundred people at the Omaha Sports Academy. These kids were energized, excited, and all-ears for my brief message. I spoke to them about hard work, hope, and seeking help should they ever find themselves in a situation regarding mental health. I told them my story of walking-on at UNO, to later earning a starting role. A parent came up afterwards and told me, “I am so thankful that my son got to hear you speak tonight. It changed both of our lives.” This is why I do what I do. Go change the world, Omaha Sports Academy!
